G. S. DUNBAR CO., INC., was established in 1967 by Gary and Esther Dunbar. With their extensive production experience, hard work and dedication the Dunbars have carved a niche in garment manufacturing that fulfills the needs of customers who seek out a resource that is flexible enough to provide quality, quick response and competitive prices.

Centrally located, G. S. Dunbar is situated on the east side of Los Angeles County and west of Orange County. The Company occupies a 26,000 square foot complex with modern facilities,and currently holds an employee force of 185. With an annual production of approximately 1.5 million units, expansion plans have been initiated to increase the capacity of operations to 3 million units within the next two years.

Through knowledge, skill and expertise, G. S. Dunbar has developed a quality assurance program that complies with government standards and guarantees production of quality garments. It is the company's attention to detail and quality control that customers have come to depend on for increased sales and has prompted manufacturers to allow drop shipments from G. S. Dunbar directly to retail distribution centers. G. S. Dunbar is also known for specializing in vertical operations - the inception of a pattern to garment assembly to packing and shipping.

Dunbar is listed with the Defense Personnel Support Center, is certified by the United States Government as a resource for garment contracting and is now working in conjunction with Cal Poly University to produce military uniforms for the Defense Logistics Agency.
